Abbey Roads

Started in 2003 and unfinished as yet, this is an attempt to photograph every Abbey Road in England.

My practice has several strands, from one-off projects to long, extended engagements with images that are similar looking or in origin.

Some of those projects are 'closed' in the sense that they will finish. I am collecting a finite number of things or will complete when a certain event is reached.

Others are more like collections in the sense that there's always something more to get. Some of these collections - found here - serve no real purpose aside from providing material for other work.

Click on the images to be taken to pages dedicated to that piece.

The Bible

Each time I check into a hotel that has a Gideon's Bible, I pick up where I left off last time.

Fountains

This project has no end, though I may stop on the 100th Anniversary of Duchamp's non-inclusion in the Society of Independent Artists exhibition in 1917.

Simply put, I photograph toilets in Art Galleries.
